how i heal dry, damaged and brittle hair

it is no secret that we all like to use heat, color our hair and plain out do things to our hair that can cause damage, as of lately I have fallen into the need of being bright blonde again but my poor hair a serious hit and took on some much hated brittle texture and damage, how am I combating this might you ask me? let me explain this to you :

I use Joico brightening conditioner for blondes, Joico repair shampoo and color care conditioner with the brightening spray which acts as a heat protector and also leaves the hair shiny. now I don't use all of these items at the same time because that would be overkill now, wouldn't it?

for purple shampoo, I use Eva NYC which I bought at Sally's beauty supply. it foams up nicely and does not leave my locks feeling dry like a lot of purple shampoo can but it also smells really nice.

I do use Nexxus color assure shampoo and conditioner with a protein fusion with elastin protein and quinoa. I also like that they have deep conditioner packets keraphix black rice protein masque is my new go-to because it deeply hydrates the hair leaving it feeling smooth, healthy and happy.

Uberliss and matrix rebond step 2 preconditioner: these are bond sustainers that help repair the hair from the outside in both are on my list of amazing products to add bonds back into your hair! I use them once weekly as stated on the bottle.

Now I do use a leave-in conditioner, serums and try not to use a lot of heat during the saving of the hair phase because let us be real here: heat is basically horrible for hair in the brittle phase sad, I know horribly sad like heartbreaking.

also stay away from buns, ponytails, and braids or anything that will tug or pull on the ever so overly processed painfully dry hair which at this time I love doing little top knots and fun little braids but at this time can not do.

What I do want to say is that I do not always use every single one of these products at the same time a lot of them are off and on during this the healing process .

I also found an amazing product called hairitage , it smells wonderful and you can even leave it overnight ( wear a shower cap) i found it at walmart .
